Joe Smith brings more than 25 years of high-quality experience to his current role. He joined JPW Industries in 2021 and is responsible for end-to-end supply chain operations for North America, Europe, and Asia. Based in Taiwan, Joe’s strategic responsibilities include managing locations in Taiwan and China with responsibility for third-party sales into markets outside of North America. Under Joe’s leadership, his team is focused on delivering customer excellence through supply chain optimization and maintaining operational excellence in a dynamic and ever changing global market.

He previously served in several leadership roles at Noranda Aluminum, Wellman Engineering Resins and Schneider Electric where he managed significant global purchasing budgets and led major restructuring, transformation and integration initiatives. Joe’s efforts have consistently resulted in enhanced efficiency, reduced costs and improved service levels.

Joe holds an MBA and a B.S. degree in Industrial Engineering from Youngstown State University. He also served five-years in the United States Air Force and was stationed in Ramstein, Germany.
